This application is not just an example but will be used in the real world by refugee coordinators. The app will help small organizations and initiatives to manage appeals (requesting item donations) and make it easy for donors to pledge item donations.
This also shows one of the most important aspects of Domain Driven Design: Domain experts! We collaborate with refugee coordinators in Austria who give us clear instructions about their daily routines and how this tool could help them save tremendous amounts of wasted time.
